If you own a blog, you may have heard of a thing called the “nofollow” tag. In 2005, Google (and various other companies) invented this tag and attached it to any comments left on a blog, so that these comments do not count towards your websites links in search engine rankings.
However, recently there has been a backlash of sorts against this tag, and many blogs do not include the nofollow tag, including this one! If you are a fellow do-follower, feel free to comment here (all comments are moderated), and I will return the favour!

Once upon a time I tried my hand at baby photography, and I did not like it. At all. But more recently I have found a very cute little model…my niece! Her name is Clare, and I this past week I took a trip back to my old stomping grounds on Vancouver Island to see her (and the rest of my family of course). We did lots of fun things like go to the beach, had a barbeque, played volleyball and went out with my friends, and just had a great time overall. I didn’t take many pictures, but here is one I did grab.

During one of our many facebook chat discussions, J mentioned to me that she wanted some edgier portraits done, and I was more than happy to do them for her! We both are busy people though, and it was actually her who suggested that we go and shoot in the snow! Little did we know it was going to be bone-crunching cold once the sun went down, but she was able to tough it out and we got some great shots! Here are a few of the results.

This past weekend I had the privilege of shooting with T & K on their wedding day. Earlier in the week the forecast had called for rain, but it turned out to be the most perfectly gorgeous day! I (along with a few guys in the wedding party) even got a bit sunburnt! They had a gorgeous ceremony, were a lot of fun to work with for pictures and up for anything I thought of, and had a VERY entertaining reception! So far the best (in terms of emotion and humour) speeches that I have heard in my wedding career by far! You guys were great to work with, and I know that you will be very happy together for many, many years! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I thought I would post something entirely unrelated! I shot these pictures a while ago while playing around with a new lens I got, and I thought I would share! (Real wedding stuff will come soon, I promise! I’m shooting one this Saturday!)
